Aberdeen businesses have faced a difficult market over the last 18 months. People are having to tighten their belts and cut costs wherever possible. At Aircon Scotland we want to provide the best service at the most affordable cost.

Are cold draughts costing your company money? Is there a constant war between those who feel it’s too hot with those who feel it’s too cold in the office?

Reduce the risk of cold draughts today!
Cold draughts are simply caused by incorrectly conceived air conditioning systems which is often affected by the location and distribution pattern. At Aircon Scotland we can create a design bespoke to your business prior to the installations.

It’s all about location, location, location…
The location of the unit should be decided based on the ceiling height and the overall size and shape of the room.

But what causes the draught?
Cold draughts are caused by “Coanda effect”. This is when cold air tends to stick to the ceiling for a short period of time – therefore allowing the cold air to mix with surrounding air before moving further down.

Unfortunately it is not all that easy in practice. The presence of barriers such as ceiling beams or another air conditioning unit located opposite the first one will cause a disruption of air flow and will cause the cold air to sink immediately, resulting in a cold draught.

Minimise your risk of draughts and save money today! Let Aircon Scotland’s expert team design and install your air conditioning units. Get in touch today to find out how we can help.
