Follow these simple Aircon steps to keep your employees happy this Winter

Posted 16/02/2018

Winter. The bitterly cold season that sees more Monday blues than any other.

When we get up for work its dark and when we leave the workplace - it’s dark again. It’s a time when there’s very little light which is exactly why our offices need to be a comfortable environment for us to be productive in.

With winter can come severe faults with your air conditioning units, by taking precautions during these harsh temperatures it will not only ensure the unit works effectively but it will keep all employees happy (or at least warm!).

Use the following steps to keep on top of your AC unit:

  • Make sure your AC unit is free from any obstruction
  • Ensure there is nothing blocking the indoor vents or any points of air discharge
  • Set temperature around 22 degree celsius as an average office temperature. You may find you want it a little warmer – that’s OK but bear in mind that around 30 degrees celsius can cause your unit to work harder.

Following these points can make sure your system isn’t overworking and everything runs as smoothly as possible.

Chances are, when your AC unit is working optimally, so are your employees.

Aircon Scotland offer regular service and maintenance checks to help you save money in the long run. Check out our other blogs to find out why it’s so important.
